Cedar, spice and ripe dark cherry aromas welcome further investigation. A soft smooth entry leads to flavors of blackberry, ripe cherry and a firm but balanced mouthfeel. Tannins are integrated and matched with crisp acidity. The finish is lasting with a pleasant return of the initial fruit and spice components. This wine is delicious now and will gain further complexity with bottle age.
