Soft ripe blackberries and toasted barrels come to mind as I enjoy my first glass of 2010 Petite Sirah. The soft entry opens to integrated tannins and firm natural acidity that keeps this wine lively on the palate. I think I want a big juicy rib eye with this wine and then some Chocolate Truffle Cake to finish it!
